  How do i take off the sides of this bucket and covert them to a dxf file to send to a cutter

  You can hide the components you do not wish to show and create a "Drawing sheet" from File> New. You can then "Save As" .dfx.
  
  Could you please tell me if you are facing any issue in while doing this? If so, could you please elaborate on what the issue is, maybe, with a snapshot?
