local sizing won’t override global sizing properly

      Hi

I am new to meshing in ANSYS, yet my question is simple I presume.

I have some geometry comprising of two shared bodies.

I choose one of the bodies for local body sizing and set 0.08 m as its element size.

      I generate the mesh...

The mesh does look fitting my local element size, but not in all areas. My guess is that in such areas, the element size is drawing its value from the "Max size" under the gloabal window.

So, my question is does/should not the local sizing with a whole body selected as its geometry override the global?

      Use local - hard sizing.
