Subscriberhi there,
I am trying to run a lsf where I loop over many simulations, each time slightly changing the variables. The loop seems to work fine until the "engine" randomly becomes "unallocated", and the program crashes. I think this has something to do with a licensing problem, since after this happens, I cannot re-open the application unless I reset the product settings (following the advice from this page: Lumerical preference files – Lumerical Support). Any help in solving this problem would be much appreciated.
Thanks, Tom

Ansys EmployeeWhat is the error in the "simulation_p0.log" file for the simulations that did not run or the job error details. Which version of Lumerical are you using?

SubscriberHi once the engine becomes unallocatred, I quit and save the simulation, and the error message that appears is: "Warning: /ssd/TomG/pi/lb10/scans/lb10_scan.lsf line 69:in run: there was no simulation data. The simulation failed to run. Error: /ssd/TomG/pi/lb10/scans/lb10_scan.lsf line 70: in getelectric, no d-card named output2 with electric field data was found".
However, if I rerun this having reset the licence the simulation runs fine. I am using v211.

Ansys EmployeePlease try to upgrade to the latest release, 2022R1.4 available our website. There has been a few patches/bug fixes since the 2021R1 release.
