SubscriberHello,
I'm trying to do a structural analysis of a slightly complex part with Ansys Workbench Student version 19.2. How can I decrease the node/element number so I won't exceed the limitations of student version?

SubscriberHello,
The generic suggestion is to cut away the parts of your assembly that don't affect the area of interest.
You can also use Sizing Mesh Control on the solid to only have high element density in a Sphere of Influence.
If your parts are thin walled, you can use midsurface geometry to greatly reduce node/element count.
It would be best to insert an image of your geometry into your reply so we can give specific suggestions for your model.

Ansys EmployeeWhat is the goal of your simulation? Based on that maybe you can get rid of some of the smaller features such as those ribs?
