Ls-dyna automatic surface to surface contact

  Hello,
  
  I have a model solved explicitly with no errors. I tried to solve the model implicitly but it gives the attached error. I beleive it is may be related to an automatic surface to surface contact i have in the model since when i remove the contact, the model solves normally. What would cause this error? and what should i do to solve this?

  Hello, please try with adding the MORTAR option in the contacts. The MORTAR contacts are primarily intended for implicit analysis.
  Here is also a checklist for implicit analysis:

  However, this may not help to prevent the error you see. It seems ls-dyna cannot allocate the required memory.
