SubscriberYes, but now you have the LS-DYNA solver installed. Go to the Start Menu and under ANSYS 2022R2 LS-DYNA Student select LS-Run. Use that to submit a .k file to the solver. Under that same folder is LS-PrePost that you can use to build a .k file of your model and look at the results.
Good luck!

SubscriberI'm not an expert at LS-DYNA, I'm an expert at Workbench. I had a quick look in the free Ansys (Student) Workbench and in LS-PrePost and noticed that in Workbench, I can export a Nastran file and in LS-PrePost I can import a Nastran file. I often do meshing in a Modal analysis block and Export Nastran file then open that in Femap where I finish preparing the file to submit to the Nastran solver.
On a paid Ansys Workbench license, LS-DYNA is an analysis system that you can drag into the Project Schematic, just like you can with Explicit Dynamics. This feature is not included in the Student license.

Boost Ansys Fluent Simulations with AWS
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) helps engineers design products in which the flow of fluid components is a significant challenge. These different use cases often require large complex models to solve on a traditional workstation.
