      Hi everyone,

I am using LSPP version 4.6. While creating threading, the software is closed with no error.

Could you please help me how to fix that?

      Thanks.

Hello Benhour, as a first step, may I suggest you try with a newer LSPP version. The latest release is 4.10.

      Hi Andreas,

Thanks for your message. I am using Macos ventura 13.1(M2max chip). I have attached a snapshot of the error that I am getting. This version is compatible with the LS-Dyna that we are using in our cluster.

As a test, please repeat the process using LSPP v4.9 which has a version for Mac. Without your .cfile we cannot tell what the problem is, but hopefully it does not occur in the v4.9. Note that d3plot files generated with older LS-DYNA versions can be opened with newer LSPP versions also. Also from Save Keyword As in LSPP, you can select the LS-DYNA version for which the keyword file is intended.

This is happening for all the versions except the v4.6. Is there any way that I can use LSPP on MAC properly with no error?

Thanks Benhour, I'll report this to the LSPP developer and get back to you.

Thanks Andreas. I do appreciate that if you could get back to me as soon as you can.

For your information, I am using macOS Ventura Version 13.3.1, Apple M2 Max.

Hello, Benhour, I am not a MacOS developer, and only build lsprepost on MacOS. Because on a new Mac system and M1&M2 platform, they don't support compatibility OpenGL like before, so lsprepost can't work well. Mac need Meta to render 3D graphics.  I am afraid lsprepost recent version can't do that.

I am trying to make lsprepost render with Vulkan in some next version. I think maybe Mac support Vulkan.  So maybe in future(lspp4.12 or lspp4.13), lsprepost could work on Mac again.
