I am receiving the following error when running the Lumerical_project_to_setup_script.lsf on my project:
Lumerical_project_to_setup_script;
Generating default property list....
Error: C:/Users/QPhotonics.3/Documents/Lumerical/project_to_script/Lumerical_project_to_json.lsfx line 353: queryuserprop requires a single structure or analysis group object to be selectedHas anyone else run into this and is there a known fix?

The error seems to be due to queryuserprop script command. Are you providing the name of the single structure/analysis group whose properties you would like returned? Would you be able to share the line of code where you use this command?

SubscriberYes, thank you. I am running a script provided by Ansys here: https://optics.ansys.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500007185181-FDTD-Project-to-Script-Prototype . I am running this script on a completed tutorial simulation provided by Ansys here:
. It shows how to set up and run an FDTD simulation in Lumerical. I followed the tutorial and completed it successfully. Then when I run the Lumerical_project_to_setup_script.lsf script provided by ansys I receive the error I showed above. -

Thank you for sharing more information. I was able to replicate the issue. It is mentioned that the script is in prototype phase and might not work for all scenarios. I will look into this and get back to you.

SubscriberThank you Amrita. I am also very interested in using this useful script once it has been debugged. I encounter Alexander's same error with the project to setup script, this time, when trying to use it on the "mie_theory_2d.fsp" example (https://optics.ansys.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042703373).
By the way, this example is used for the Python API Tutorial (https://optics.ansys.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034416574-Using-the-Python-API-in-the-nanowire-application-example), but the Mie Theory project file name has been updated, so no longer matches the tutorial, and there is a file extension typo in the second line of the tutorial.
