Machine Toolkit “Step Failure” Error

      Hello All,

I have been using the machine toolkit for a long time successfully to generate efficiency maps for different machines. Now, every time I am trying to run it it gives me "Step Failure" Error. The error is the following:

"The execution of the step has failed. The wizard will exit and return to the Wizard Start Page. Check the error messages."

Global - Messages :  [error] ACT Wizard: ERROR: Error when invoking function 'ProcessUIData4'.

I am using Ansys Electronics Desktop 2021 R2. Any suggestions how to solve this issue ?

      Thank You!

Hi @Haitham_Kanakri You can try the following.
Increase the time step and check.
Reinstall the software as admin or at least run the software as admin.
      If not solved
Please share error information in the message manager window.
Provide screenshots of all the pages of Machine toolkit setup
Please use the image option and not the Attachment option while sharing the screenshots.
      Regards Navya

      Hi Navya,
      Thank you for your suggestions!
In the map characteristics I can specify the " Number of speed points" and the "Number of torque points" or the "speed steps" and "torque steps". Would you please clarify what "time step" are you referring for, in "Increase the time step and check."?
"Reinstall the software as admin or at least run the software as admin." ~ Unfortunately, I don't have admin login.
The problem appears at the start-up of the machine toolkit, even before running any simulation; please see the error picture below:

"Provide screenshots of all the pages of Machine toolkit setup"

      Thank You!
