SubscriberHi everyone...nI want to get the waveform of the MMF in the air gap...Is it possible in the Maxwell?...if so, how is the procedure...nnBest regards,nCesarn -

Ansys EmployeenYou can use Field calculator.n it can be done as the integral of H dot L where L is the length of airgap. This expression can be added to the fields calculator and can be plotted as an XY report.nnRegardsnNavyan -

SubscribernI have followed your advice but when I integrate it graphs its a point...nI am new to ANSYS and I have not used the fields calculator much, it may be that the integration is wrong...Look in the help but there is no very clear example.nnRegards,nCesar -

SubscriberHi Cesar,nI am also facing the same challenge. I tried the integration but I'm getting a point. Have you been able to find a way around this?nRegards,nJohn.n -

SubscriberI tried the integral, but when I use the integral command in the field calculator it gives me an error, I have not solved that problem yet.nI do not know what I'm doing wrong.nnAny news I will comment on this linenRegards, nCesarn -

Hi @nchode, thanks for your response. Would you you kindly advise why the fields calculator gives an error when you try to add the 'dot' operation after inputting Quantity H and airgap length (as a line geometry)? If it's simple enough, kindly send us a screenshot of how you input H dot L in the fields calculator so we can see where we're going wrong because clearly we're struggling!nn
