SubscriberHello guys ,
I am working on dynamic wireless charging of electrical vehicle using Ansys maxwell 3d. I have made two coils and moved the receiving coil in vertical axis ( up and down) using perametric sweep in z axis, the simulation ran fine and no errors were produced. Now when I'm running the same simulation but now the parametric sweep is in the x- axis instead of z- axis. And as soon as I run the simulation ,the validation is all fine and after some time it's throws me an error stating " major mesh repair(TAU) on body. And its for both the transmitting and receiving coils. Can Someone tell me the reasons for this particular error and possible remedies for this?( I can share further information required in order to evaluate this)
Regards,
Hammad

Ansys EmployeeHi Hammad,
They are not errors but just warnings. It only informs you that some mesh modification has happened(may be due to some object moment).
I don't think you will have any issues in completing the simulation. Do you face any problems in completing the simulation and in solution convergence?
Regards,
Navya

SubscriberYes it takes a lot of time to proceed to the next stage and it almost freezes, can you suggest to me how to resolve this?Im using it for dynamic wireless transfer.

SubscriberShould i make changes in the mesh of the coils and region for instance the max length of elements etc. so this warning will not appear?

Ansys EmployeeHi Hammad,
Yes, I would suggest to check if the Region is big enough for the parametric sweep in the x- axis and apply mesh operations in all the objects.

Ivonne

Subscribercan you please elaborate on what you mean by " apply mesh operations in all the objects", as I have already applied mesh operations on both the coils and the region.

Ansys EmployeeSure, I meant to apply mesh operations in the coils and region. Since you have already done it, you can use inside lenght based. If you still have issues, I would encourge you to contact Ansys support, since we many need to see the model and do some tests.
