Making a hole on a pipe

      Hello,

I would like to simulate a flow inside pipe that have a hole. However the fluid domain is slightly longer than the pipe at the edge like figure below. Would you tell me how to make the outlet of the fluid fomain round? Thank you.

I am not sure if I understand the question correctly, but can you please elaborate?

Is the hole on side of a pipe, from where the fluid outlet will be? What issue you are currently facing and what workflow you are currently using to extract the fluid domain?

I would like to make a geometry like this. So the fluid domain should be generated as if there's a hole in the pipe. But the outlet protrudes slightly from the pipe (figure above). Would you tell me how to make the fluid geometry?

If you are using SpaceClaim or Discovery model stage, you can use volume extract with the side hole edge as capping face along with the inlet outlet faces.

Thank you so much! That's what I want to know. If you know the way using new desing modeler, please let me know.

You should be able to create a circular sketch and pull it to create the outlet geometry, that you can boolean in to the central fluid geometry as well.

Thank you. I could make it.
