SubscriberHi everyone!
I am completely new to ansys and need to make a volume mesh from stl files to calculate the pressure before and after a stenosis. I already looked at a lot of youtube tutorials, but nothing seems to work for me. I also followed the course for 3D bifuricating artery (for this I converted the stl to step file), but then I got an error when I tried to create the surface mesh that the Pre-inflation mesh failed possibly because of bad boundry mesh and I do not know how to fix this.
Something else I did was just run the step file until it said in workbench that I needed to add info. This was at the setup component, it said it needed input, because the data files from the upstream input were missing. Then I got stuck at this point.
Now my questions are, what is the best way to approach this problem of making a volume mesh? Were the first 2 things I did wrong, or should I work further on one of these? And is it easier to just work with the stl file? And how should I approach that?
Pictures following.
