manual assignment of discovery licenses

  When you manually assign a discovery license with the activation key, how it that associated with an email address ?
  
  I have a customer whom can no longer manage subscriptions when they login to their account, 2 weeks ago they could, now they cannot.

  the user was granted admin rights again which helped to resolve the issues.
