Mass balance problem in cavitation modeling

  Hello,
  
  I am doing the transient simulations for high Reynolds number flow through an orifice. I am using Schnerr and Sauer model for cavitation.
  
  I am getting convergence in terms of residuals but I am not getting the mass balance. Error in mass balance increases with flow time.
  
  I have performed simulations with Singhal et al. model also but still, the problem remained the same.
  
  Is there any solution for this kind of error?

  Have a look at the flow field, and check mesh resolution around the cavitation areas.
