mass flow rate between the inlet and outlet does not match in ansys fluent

      Dear sir,


      recently i am doing a steady state simulation without chemical reaction in usage of fluent, the computational domain is cubic ,the relevant BCs are: velocity inlet, pressure outlet, all the rest  sides of the computational domain is periodic BC, however when i look to the reports and find the mass flow tate of at the inlet and outlet does not match, but with a little discrepancy as showed in the following figure:



      it's obviously not conversed, and with a absolute error of 7.56e-4%. What iam wondering is where does the error comes and wether my current simulation is right or can i regard the simulation as right ?

      It is conservative already. The error comes from the fact we are doing discreitization and splittings and the error might be then a result of truncation and other numerical errors.
