SubscriberHello,
I am trying to properly characterize either AR500 or MIL-A-46100 armor in Ansys. I have entered the density, tensile properties, linear elasticity, and the Johnson-Cook strength properties for these materials however when I do an impact analysis on the material they do not perform as expected. I am modeling these for explicit dynamics.
Are there additional properties that I should be including or does someone have a material file for one of these?
Thanks,
Matt
