SubscriberI am trying to run a transient thermal anaylis on a steel rod. I have input a list of temperature dependent thermal conductivity from 25 degree to 1600 degree. After running the solve, i am given the following error. I tried deleting some data as i though ansys coudlnt handle more than 100 datas but does not work. Dont know how to fix this. The initial temprature is set to 22 degrees. I have input the datas from 22 to 1600. Same error.

Ansys EmployeeHi Asif,
This error may occur because the temperature data is different for the young modulus and poisson ratio. Can you check if Young's Modulus and Poisson's Ratio have the same values of temperature?

SubscriberThe young modulus and possion ratio is temperature independent. I have not put the temperature values for them.
But the Isotropic Relative Permittivity is auto filled and is same as the thermal conductivity that i have filled adn when i right click and choose DISPLAY VALIDATION FAILURE , it gives the following error

Ansys EmployeeHi
As it says you cannot have more than 100 rows in the engineering data - you have at least or more than 139 rows that is why (that is also why they are yellow).
I see this material is related to Maxwell, and normally the materials are defined within Maxwell at least from what I have done in the past (when using Maxwell for some parts) - if you would like to know more about Maxwell material definitions post this under electronic category.

All the best
