Maxwell Eddy Current Solver Simulations Execution Error: Current Leaks in Air

      Hi,

I'm running a simulation in ANSYS Maxwell Eddy Current Solver with a geometry where I'm trying to simulate Ohmic Losses in a current carrying conductor. The issue I'm facing is that after validating the model, I run the simulation and I see this error: "Current leaks to the air. Simulation completed with execution error."

I don't understand why this is happening, as I haven't defined any air regions and my simulation region is vacuum. Could I please get some guidance on why I could be encountering this error and any solutions to troubleshoot this error?

      Sincerely,
      Kartavya Agarwal.

      Hi,

This error could be related conduction path or mesh issue. Could you check your conduction path to see if it is correct and use segments on your round face geometry?

      Thanks,

      GLUO

Hi, I have checked the conduction path and it looks correct. Any other potential issues that I can troubleshoot?

          Hello @kagarwal37,

Could you check if your excitation terminal just covers the conductor crosssection perfectly?

If your conductor has complicated geometry that is difficult to mesh, could you change your mesh setting and use finer mesh?
