SubscriberHello, I am currently studying an amorphous alloy material used in high-speed permanent magnet synchronous motor. The temperature and stress results of the motor have been calculated in ansys workbench. I need to modify the material core loss model according to maxwell's material properties and add the influence of different temperatures and stresses on the loss model and BH curve.
I already know how to add thermal modifier, but maxwell doesn't seem to have a setting for stress modifier on materials. May I ask where the influence of stress on material properties is set? If not, can it be achieved by other means?

Ansys EmployeeThere is no stress modifer in Maxwell, you would need couple Maxwell with Ansys Structural via Workbench. Refer "Maxwell to Ansys Stress Feedback Coupling" in Maxwell manuel for more details.

SubscriberI have already couple Maxwell with Ansys Structural via Workbench and calculated the stress distribution of my model. Then I need to feedback the stress results to maxwell and ues them with stress correction formula to calculate a corrected core loss. This is a two-way coupling.I have already konw there is no stress modifer in Maxwell.I wonder if this function(stress modify) can be implemented indirectly.

Boost Ansys Fluent Simulations with AWS
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) helps engineers design products in which the flow of fluid components is a significant challenge. These different use cases often require large complex models to solve on a traditional workstation.
