Subscriber1. My lab is using EM simulator (HFSS) with licenses. I am just wondering if I can use a maxwell3d in benchmark with the licenses.
2. We are using HFSS with version 19.0.0. Is there some benchmark version that I can use a maxwell3d in benchmark?
Thank you so much for your reply in advance.

Ansys EmployeeSorry, I don't understand the questions.
Are you asking if you can use HFSS licenses to run Maxwell 3D ?
Thanks,
Win

SubscriberWe are using EM simulator such as HFSS, Maxwell 3D and so on. I need to do electromagnetic thermal simulations. To do so, I want to use maxwell3d and transient thermal analysis together in the Ansys workbench. But we don't have Ansys workbench in the computers in our lab.
I am not sure if I can install and use the Ansys workbench that has maxwell3d and transient thermal analysis with EM simulation licenses.

Ansys EmployeeI see.
The licenses for Electronics tools (HFSS, Maxwell, etc.) are separated than those tools in Workbench. However, you may have some that allow you to use Workbench. Can you post the content of your license file ? Just post the first two fields of each INCREMENT line, e.g.,
INCREMENT aa_r
INCREMENT hfss_desktop
.

.
Thanks,
WIn
