Meaning of “Autoshutoff level” in Lumerical simulation

  can someone explain what is the meaning of Autoshutoff level and how it effects the simulation?

  The autoshutoff level is an approximate measure of the energy left in the simulation region. Ideally this should reach close to zero before the simulation ends for accurate frequency domain results. This video has more information: https://support.lumerical.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044942514
