Mechanical analysis of motor

  I designed an outer rotor motor in Ansys Maxwell.I would like to perform a mechanical analysis of this motor. May i know how can i export this model to Motor CAD

  Hi Sampathkumar,
  If your motor has been designed in Ansys Maxwell, I would encourage you to use Ansys Mechanical Structural to perform the mechanical analysis. You can easily send (drag & drop) the information from Ansys Maxwell to Ansys Mechanical using Workbench Platform. Ivonne

    I am very much thankful for your reply sir....I am working in Ansys Maxwell...In this platform, there is an option to insert mechanical design....Do i need to use that for mechanical validation of rotor for stress analysis?

  I have designed a soft electromagnetic actuator on Ansys Maxwell 3D using Ansys Electronics Desktop. I want to perform a mechanical simulation of the same setup on Ansys Mechanical (including magnetic field, current excitations, and resultant volume-force fields ). How can I transfer this entire setup to ansys mechanical?
