Mechanical APDL doesn’t open

  I have downloaded ANSYS Student 2019 R3 but when I try to open Mechanical APDL it doesn't open. I only see that.

  after a while I see that.
  
  Should I do something with the antivirus or the firewalls?

  Yes, try turning them off and see if it makes a difference. If so, turn them back on and add exclusions.
  
  In the meantime, you can try going to Mechanical APDL Launcher -> HPC Setup tab -> Use SMP and specify 1 core.

  I have the same problem. I tried the above solution and unfortunately did not work.
  
  I think, the problem is this err.
  
  ErrorLogger.errorFilePath is C:Program FilesANSYS IncANSYS Studentv201CADConfigLogsCADConfigurationMgr.err
