Mechanical is crashing

  My ANSYS Mechanical is still crashing. It crashes after the first click during startup. When I change my directory name to v221.old it works for 15-20 minutes and crashes. I have to change the directory name daily.

  Check your virus scanner logs to see if something is being scanned/blocked.
  Also, check your firewall logs for the same.
  You can test by turning off virus protection and friewall and trying to run.
  If it runs, then one of those programs is blocking the writing of information.
