Mechanical is crashing

  My ANSYS Mechanical is crashing after about 30 seconds. Can you please help?

  More details would help. What's it crashing into?

  When I open the mechanical it opens, but after I press any key it closes automatically. I have been working in ANSYS for the past 5-6 months and it was working fine. But this problem suddenly arose 2 days back. I tried re-installing ANSYS but it didn't help.

  Try the following:
  Close All ANSYS Aqpplications.
  Open Windows file explorer and type in the following in the addres line:
  %APPDATA%\Ansys
  This should take you to
  C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Ansys
  
  There will be a directory named:
  v221 (for 2022 R1)
  rename this to v221.old
  now try to restart
  If this doesn't work, there will be a directory named WorkbenchLogs
  under %TEMP%
  Check the log files in there for errors.

  I changed the directory name and now it works fine.

  My ANSYS Mechanical is still crashing. It crashes after the first click during startup. When I change my directory name to v221.old it works for 15-20 minutes and crashes. I have to change the directory name daily. The following message appears during first startup.
