Mesh confined to single point in ICEM CFD

I am creating a mesh over an airfoil and in one of the blocks I created in ICEM CFD, the mesh keeps getting confined to just a point rather than being spread out over the boundary (a suction slot on the airfoil surface)
the boundary is confined between the two light blue lines in the image above and as you can see, the mesh is confined to the right of the boundary rather than being spread out over the entire boundary as I circled
How do I fix this?
