I am using Ansys workbench 2020R2.
I created a simple beam and applied a time varying load after meshing. From simulation i want to get the mesh data(STL or FEM format) of every node at every second. Is there any way to do so?

Thankyou for reply, using this i am not getting the stl of deformed geometry.
I am geting the stl for original geometry. But i want stl of deformed geometry.

If you are using Mechanical, insert a total deformation result at each second. (You can do this manuallly, by adding a result and changing display time or by right-clicking and selecting Create results at all sets)
This will create a result at each load step.
You can then right click and export STL on each result. Please note, the STL is exported at graphics scale so use True scale for exporting STL.
Also, I am not sure what FEM format you are referring to.

Thanks for giving your valuable time. I tried your approach and exported two stl files, one which has maximum deformation and other one has minimum deformation. Then i did some preprocessing using some code and calculated the minimum and maximum co-ordinates of x,y,z axes . and got the same result for both the file. I am attaching the result.
Geometry is a Cylinder whose base circle is on x-z plane and height is in y direction.
assume max as minimum and min as maximum.
It it is deformed stl file then it should show different results.even number of nodes and elements are also same. I think everytime the software exports the same file.

Why do you expect the number of nodes and elements to be different when stl is exported from same result of same model, just different time steps? Nodes should be exactly the same, just their location would be different.

let’s not talk about the number of nodes and elements. let’s say if i apply a tensile force on the beam and after exporting the stl of deformed geometry the length of both beam(original, deformed) should be different but i am getting same by following your approach. I want the length to be different. How can i get it?
