I am trying to create a model depening on several parameters.
Currently I am try to check the convergence of the results by changing the element size of the important region and comparing the results.
I get a lot of meshing errors when doing so over the parameter interface and after checking what is going wrong in mechanical directly, I found the problem:
When I change the element size of the important region and clear generated data everything is fine. However when I change the element size and do not clear generated data, Ansys views only that part of the mesh as obsolete and recreates it. This unfortunately leads to a really bad mesh, because the important part of the mesh must be created first to reach a good mesh quality.

Ansys EmployeeAs Ansys Staff, we can not download attachments. Please upload images using upload image functionality.
If you want to generate mesh with specific sequence, you can use worksheet.
Please go through help manual for more details
For geometry cell please use compare parts on update as No as shown below.
