Mesh refinement affects acoustics ?

  Hello,
  
  I am currently working on a project that requires me to calculate transmission loss in panels. I would like to know if the refinement of a mesh would significantly change the TL values ?
  
  PS : I have followed the requirements of mesh sizes (linear with 12 elements per wavelength) for the frequency spectrum that I would like to record my TL values for but I wanted to know if there is anything else I should be looking into for acoustics meshing.
