SubscriberHi,
I have a pretty large model with many parts. I have meshed all these parts one by one. It took hours to obtain a good quality mesh. Now, I want to do a parametric study on this big model by changing a specific dimension in a specific part. I don't want Ansys to start meshing the entire model again because it takes hours every time that I am updating that geometry. I.e., I just want Ansys meshes the part that the geometry is changed for it. However, every time that I am updating that geometrical parameter, Ansys removes meshes of other parts in mechanical. Do you know how I can stop Ansys to do so and just meshes that part based on the surrounding parts?
Thanks in advance for the help,

SubscriberThanks for the response. As far as I know, this method is working when we are not using the shared topology method. How about the case we have shared topologies?
Could you please explain what this means:
"Associatively option is the recommended comparison option and should be used exclusively if the model utilizes merged topology from the DesignModeler application"
Thanks -
