SubscriberHello all,
I saw a couple of posts which asked the same question I have, but none of them had an actual solution to the problem.
I am currently running a compressible flow case with the MHD Module. I am running on the Realizable k-e viscous solver, with ideal gas densities for the fluid (air). I have increased the mangetic permiability and electrical conductivity of the fluid for the purposes of troubleshooting.
The MHD Module generates the external magnetic field, calculates/displays the induced magnetic fields, and calculates/plots the lorentz force generated by the field. Despite all of this, the flow itself seems to be completely unaffected.
If you need any pictures, please let me know. -

SubscriberFor reference, the flow is a Mach 7 (2401 m/s) flow and I am seeing a lorentz force on the order of 1000 N/m^3. I originally thought the issue could be that the lorentz force isn't powerful enough, but this seems like a reasonable force magnitude, no?
