Mie scattering vs. HFSS

      I have obtained the normalized bistatic cross section [Q = sigma/ (pi a^2)] in the problem of scattering of a plane wave by a sphere made of a material with epsilon_r = 4, using HFSS and using Mie scattering method. In HFSS, I have chosen the radius 'a' of the sphere and the frequency 'f' of the simulation such that k_0 a = 3, where k_0 is the wavenumber.

      I have made a comparison and found a discrepancy between the two results. I have attached my results.

      Can anyone help, please?

      and using Mie scattering methodnIf you tell us more about the method implementation, we (of course you yourself) can analyse where the difference is. Plotting it in dB will make it even easier to read.n
