yes, we are using hidden lines removed. About using the rotate view in this case it works, but unfortunately it happens on some other drawings and if the model is not symmetrical we can't do that.
I verified this strange behaviuor: in the pipe, under the weldment, there is an hole (selected in the below image). If you delete the hole the missing line is shown. Obviously the hole is needed, and this cannot be a solution, but can you check if this behaviuor can help to understand why the line is missing?
