SubscriberI recently downloaded and installed AIM 18.1 and after finally finding the CAD Configuration Manager and running it, I found the DLL files used by it to configure the SolidWorks and AutoCAD interfaces were missing from the installation. Does anyone know where to find these? Is it possibly a bug in the installer? I tried to install it twice and both times the files are not there. -

Ansys EmployeeThe free student products do not include any of the geometry interface products. i.e. The Solidworks and AutoCAD interfaces are not included.
You can import IGES and STEP neutral file formats, and Parasolid (*.x_T) files into ANSYS Student 18.1.
The ANSYS AIM Student 18.1 product uses ANSYS SpaceClaim for it's geometry engine, hence AIM Student can import many CAD geometry formats out of the box, no geometry interfaces need to be configured.

SubscriberWell, that will work. I was not aware SpaceClaim could import SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Thanks for your help!
