SubscriberHello everyone!
I am currently doing a modal analysis to manipulate a eigenfrequency of a certain component. Basically I can vary the length of two sections of the component and thus check the influences on the eigenfrequencies.
Currently I create a large amount of component geometries in a CAD program by varying these lengths, run a simulation and jump from geometry to geometry.
I now wonder if it is not possible in Ansys to define these two lengths in a drawing as variables, which Ansys automatically sweeps through in a certain step size and can even graphically display the dependency of the eigenmodes in relation to the variables.
Can anyone tell me if this is possible in Ansys? Many thanks in advance!

Ansys EmployeeHi,
You can always use design explorer to parameterize the length and see the effect of lengths on the frequencies.
Please see this video that peter put together for a different problem.
If this is not what you are looking for, can you explain with pictures when you reply next?
Regards,
Sandeep
