Modal analysis on small geometry

  I'm trying to extract the mode shapes of a relatively small plate 10cmx 10cmx 0.5 cm of a library material structural steel with one fixed end b.c but I'm getting very large deformed unrealistic shapes out of modal analysis. Did the same simulation with longer beam and the result came out nice as I was expecting. Tried to refine the mesh but didn't help. Any advice will help alot. Thanks in advance.
