SubscriberHello everyone,
I want to ask if there is a condition that can be applied to a surface to be considered a mirror in ANSYS Fluent.
If not, could you recommend software for that?
For a closer view, I am simulating a box-type solar cooker in which I need to have mirror faces to reflect the solar radiation to the absorber.
Thanks in advance,
Best regards,
Dounia

Ansys EmployeeOpaque wall, then review the radiation options.

SubscriberThank you for the answer,
I have used the solar load model with the DO radiation model, and this picture below represents the wall where I want to apply the condition as a mirror.
I turned the absorptivity coefficients to 0, Is that right? because the mirror only reflects and does not absorb.
Thank you in advance

Ansys EmployeeI think so, but also check how the solar ray tracing works.
