I want to model the mechanical behavior of rubber-like material reinforced by very thin fibers that can only bear tensile stresses. I know that we can model fibers in ANSYS Mechanical, considering beam elements and using the "reinforcement" option for their type. However, after the simulation is converged, I cannot plot the stress distribution in these fibers. It seems this type of simulation doesn't model the actual fibers. Does anyone know how we can measure the stress in fibers alone?
