I am an engineering student. Within the framework of my studies, I want to model a motor of a wind turbine in order to make a digital twin of the motor.
After some research, I found the ANSYS web page. Unfortunately, I don't know which solver will be compulsory. Can you, please, give me some tips? Are the student versions enough? Which solver will I need to use (Maxwell,CFD, Simplorer...)?
Thanks for your answer !

I don't think CFD products can model this. You would need to use Electronics products, which, unfortunately, is not available for the free ANSYS Student version. These products require paid academic licenses.
If you are interested in evaluating these products, please reach out to your ANSYS Account Manager. If you don't know who that is, you can search for the ANSYS local office that's closest to your location using this link
then reach out to them.
