Subscriberhello
i am currently analyzing the monitor arm in ansys workbench.
but, i confuse how to set the 'contact','load factors', and so on..
i want to analysis the model as follows.
in number 1,3 which I pointed in red, arm's deformation.
and in number 2, i want to check the deformation, stress, and so on.
so, can i ask about how to set of load factor and contacts factor?

SubscriberWhat do you want to know about this arm?
What is the mass of the monitor it is supporting?

Subscriberi want to know the bending stress and safetyfactor in number 1,2,3,4.
the mass of the monitor is almost 20kg which i supposed.

SubscriberThis analysis should be done in Static Structural. Why do you think it should be a Transient Structural analysis?
On part 4, there is a screw clamp. A sufficiently large torque on that screw will take part 4 past yield. You must specify the maximum axial force that the screw develops. This analysis can be done using only part 4 and the screw, without including parts 1-3.
