SubscriberHello,
Currently I'm trying to observe time-dependent characteristics of charge diffusion(especially n & p attributes in acharge monitor), under pulsed voltage.
If electrical factor is the only stimulus to the object, is it okay to turn 'gloabl source shutter' to 'none', in charge solver edit window?
Thanks,
Sungmin

Ansys EmployeeHi Sungmin,
Thank you reaching out to us! I believe for your case you are correct you don't need the shutter and you can disable it. You just need to make sure the contacts in boundary conditions are changed accordingly vs time (V vs t). You should be able to see the evolution of n and p as the results are reported separately for each voltage.
I hope that was helpful, let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Kind Regards,
Niki
