SubscriberDear experts here
I'm doing simuloation about venting process duing pump start-up. Before start up, there is part of air in the pump see the picture below, after pump start to run, high pressure water will be pushed by rotating impeller into the area where there is air upside. And air in the pump will be entrainment with water and vented out.
So here comes with my questions below:
- Air phase: continous or dispersed?
- Homo or non-homo for multipashe model setting?
- Need to consider free surface model?
- Any best practice for this kind of phnominen or other suggestion?
Much appreciated in advanced!
