Ansys EmployeeIf you are using student license then it has limitations on no. of nodes. Please cross check. nIf you not using student license then you can go ahead with more no. of nodes. nFrom the image it looks like surface body with many small faces. You have also used virtual topology. Can you please check if you can simplify geometry in SpaceClaim before coming to meshing. Please check if you can use different meshing method to mesh. Make sure that you have applied correct mesh sizing.Regards,nKeyurnHow to access Ansys Online Help DocumentnHow to show full resolution imagenGuidelines on the Student CommunitynHow to use Google to search within Ansys Student CommunitynJanuary 27, 2021 at 10:35 amyappyap

SubscriberI am not using student license! I dont think there's other ways i can simplify the model in SC.nJanuary 28, 2021 at 12:07 pmKeyur Kanade
Ansys EmployeeCan you reduce the model size? Is it symmetric?nCan you modify it in SC so that less no. of edges come in meshing? nRegards,nKeyurnHow to access Ansys Online Help DocumentnHow to show full resolution imagenGuidelines on the Student CommunitynHow to use Google to search within Ansys Student CommunitynFebruary 2, 2021 at 3:00 pmyappyap
Subscriberno i can't reduce the model size. no it is not symmetric. and i dont think there can be other modifications made in SC anymore.nnFebruary 4, 2021 at 4:38 amKeyur Kanade
Ansys EmployeeFor testing purpose, split the geometry in SpaceClaim. Take only small portion of geometry and try to mesh it. Change settings as required. Once you successfully mesh that small portion, you can use same settings for entire model. Please check if you can use different method as patch confirming tetra etc. nRegards,nKeyurnHow to access Ansys Online Help DocumentnHow to show full resolution imagenGuidelines on the Student CommunitynHow to use Google to search within Ansys Student CommunitynViewing 7 reply threads- You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
