My face mesh behind the wedge is not working?

I am absolutely new to this software. So, I am trying to simulate flow over a 2D wedge and capture the oblique shock occurrence. But the face mesh fails to show behind the wedge.
Here is how my mesh currently looks like. Any help would suffice.
