SubscriberI'm using the ansys 19.1 academic version and i am getting a value for min orthogonal quality as 0.02 and aspect ratio as 25.01 when I tried to do the analysis.
I need to know what are the best values possible and attainable for the model in the attachment (i.e. the geometry) and also the way to improve the value of min orthogonal quality if required.
Please do help!!!

Ansys EmployeeHello kalyan,
Can you upload a few snapshots of the mesh that you generated? It will help us to provide better suggestions.

Ansys EmployeeI suspect you're growing the mesh too quickly or don't have enough cells around the object in the middle. Check your minimum cell sizes and growth rate. Also please confirm you've got the meshing tool set to CFD.

Ansys EmployeeHello,
Please have a look at following video.
Please try to get min orthogonal quality to 0.1 for fluids simulation.
Regards,
Keyur

Subscribersir,
Is 0.1 a good value for the min orthogonal quality?

Ansys EmployeeIt's acceptable, ideally it wants to be higher. Have you gone through the tutorials that come with the R19 documentation and that are posted elsewhere on the community?
