SubscriberI have successfully modeled a wave flume and obtained pressure values (of wave over a structure) via function calculator.
I am now trying to assign porus medium and run the same calculation, but I do not get any results in function calculator any more.
Error says- "No data types for variables'". The solution also isnt converging completely (veocity doesnt converge) even though the meshing properties from my previous trials are unchanged.
I tried running with the previous parameters where there was no porus medium (I had reset all the systems) still neither the solution converges completely nor a result value is obtained.
pls help

SubscriberHi, this issue was with Ansys fluent. I had to discard the run,. Reinstall ansys, now it works. But still the issue is in results section, sometimes it shows result (in function calculator} sometimes it doesn't -

Ansys EmployeeHard to tell without any images. Please can you post screen shots of the Workbench session, and Fluent results.

Boost Ansys Fluent Simulations with AWS
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) helps engineers design products in which the flow of fluid components is a significant challenge. These different use cases often require large complex models to solve on a traditional workstation.
