No Results – Black fill

      Hi Support,

Have you ever seen something like the below when running a solution

The particles/streamline/iso-surface options do not produce anything, direction filed gives a black image, and the contours option just gives a blue fill to the part. It is almost like there is no data, it is not being solved.

      Hello Tim Dukes

Can you please try updating to the latest graphics drivers from the NVIDIA Website?

      Hello Tim Dukes

Did you get any error message, Could you please share a screenshot of that error?

Would you be able to share the simulation model as well?

      Hi Devendra Badgujar

There was no error message just the black in image above where you would expect to see results gradients.

Unfortunately this model is sensitive so can't be shared. Will send if it happens on a less sensitive model.

      Hi Tim Dukes

It will be difficult to understand without the model file. If you want I can share the secure transfer link.

I would suggest you check with Sample models available and see if you are facing the same issue. If not, it might be a file  specific issue.

      Regards.

      Hi Devendra Badgujar

I have a Discovery file and some log files with a customer with the same issue.

In 2021R2 it goes to this black model after a few iterations with 2022R1 it errors out and says cannot solve.

Can I send you these privately and could you take a look and let me know what they issues may be?

Sure, please send. Can you please send the files to ansys-discovery-support@ansys.com?

I will check the files and will let you know what can be the issue.
