Subscriberi'm trying now to cosimulate a SRM model in maxwell 2d and Controlling in Twin Builder. But after i seted up my model and control circuit and started to cosimulate, an error occurs below:
Maxwell2d solver, process solver2d error: Internal Solver Error: 'Not able to connect to the server: DELL, port number: 7779'. Please contact Ansys technical support. (12:46:18 上午 3月 18, 2023)
The model in Maxwell 2d can be alone simulated well without twin builder, i have tried that. I use maxwell2d and twin builder in the same electronic desktop. but i don't know where comes this error not able to connect to the port 7779. Can Someone explain that?

Ansys EmployeeHi Yongnan,
It seems like a result of losing license server connection. Can you run the twinbuilder project alone without error message?

SubscriberGlad to see you again GLUO,
thanks for replying this post.
As for your question my answer is yes, I can run twin builder project alone, like simple circuit model, such as use sine and triangle wave to get the control signals for switches.
Actually I think this error results from some unkown settings of my localhost. I just tried my project on my supervisor's computer and also on my cloud pc, the same project works well. But this project cannot work on my laptop. I reinstall ansys electronics suite and also my laptop, this problem are still there.
I really don't know where is the root cause of this problem. It seems quite rare.
Thanks in advance for any solutions from you.

Ansys EmployeeYongnan,
I agree with your spectulation. I don't think electrical engineerings looking at this forum would have a solution for this issue anytime soon. The fast way to get help for this type of issue is submitting a service request ticket to the dedicated ANSYS installation/system/liscensing team at Home Page - Ansys Customer Portal. Please also indicates your project runs fine on other computers when submitting ticket.

Ansys EmployeeYongnan,
If you are using the same license, the error should be related to the installation or local settings. Please check with the IT team of your institue for information of your ANSYS academic account manager, then contact the manager and see if they can provide you with an account ID, or have the installation team directly look into this issue. Before doing so, please try performing a perfect re-installation by:
- Completely delete the existing EM suite.
- Download the EM suite installation file.
- Turn off the firewall and anti-spy, anti-virus software.
- Run the autorun installation by right click>>Run as administrator.
- Turn on the firewall and anti-virus software after the installation.
