SubscriberHi All, I've been running Discovery Live 19.0 for while and installed 19.1, but it won't let me past the 'Create Solution' step for any physics. I have a Dell 7510 with Nvidia Quadro M2000M (4 GB). If I try to use the Bracket model for structural, it gives me an error:Anyone have any advice for settings for this graphics card? I've updated the graphics driver before installing and the compatibility check appeared to not have a problem. Is this graphics card usable with Discovery Live? Thanks, Todd

Ansys EmployeeHello Tkraft
Yes, the graphics card is compatible as I have the same one and is working fine with R19.1.
Did you update the graphics drivers from the Nvidia website?
Are you getting the same error on other models too? Can you try clearing temp files from %temp% folder?

SubscriberThe primary issue is that none of the demo models work. When I bring other models in, Discovery Live does work fine. I cleared my temp folder and updated graphics from Nvidia website. I can live without the demo models....but does anyone know why they wouldn't work?

Ansys EmployeeTkraft This is a bit strange and has not been observed before. Can you try deleting the existing solution from the demo model and define a new one and see if it helps you to get going.

SubscriberThe demo models have been problematic for me for a while. In 19.0, the solution was not part of the demo models and I had to add the boundary conditions for each of them...each time I invoked one. Now with 19.1, I click on the demo model and then proceed to add boundary conditions, but then it never gets to the solution. Is there a way to reset these?

Ansys EmployeeTkraft Can you send the log file from %apdata%RoamingSpaceClaimLog Files when the demo files are failing.

Ansys EmployeeHello Tkraft
1. Can you try opening the sample file attached to this post and see if you can open it?
2. From the log file, it seems that you are using Logmein to connect the machine. Is this the case? If yes, can you try logging to the machine directly and see if you notice same issues?

SubscriberNaresh Patre I get the same results with this sample file. Logmein is something that our IT group uses...I uninstalled it, uninstalled Discovery 19.1 and then reinstalled Discovery 19.1 and get same error with all the sample models. I'm running everything local and directly on my one laptop.

The issue was resolved by resetting user settings located in Live Options - Advanced.
